The solution is out there -- this is a key input to effective innovation.
As an innovative problem solver who enjoys a thorny challenge without a clear answer, I work with business leaders and organizations backwards from the objective. Through these processes we identify concrete ways to make meaningful progress.
Unlock Potential; Increase Impact.
Using lessons from Big Law, international and global business, holding executive roles at Amazon and 20+ year advisor, I work with my clients to unlock hard to see potential and how to directly convert those into increased impact.

Together, we will innovate and negotiate your way to success without working harder.
I loved writing since I was a kid. I dreamt (literally) of writing popular science fiction. But life intervened and college and career seemed to be the adult thing to pursue. However, something was missing. When I reached mid-career, I wanted to write again. This time my goal was nonfiction books that would share the learnings I gained to help others. But I had a full-time job and three busy kids, so I figured I would start small writing my own blog – which became two blogs (Balancing Career Family and Ethiopian Ties. I then looked to write for online publications including Working Mother, Adoptive Families, InCulture Parent, and Women’s Essence.
I also published my first children’s book, The Loud Prince, with colorful, diverse characters, through Kindle Direct Publishing in 2016. I wrote a second dual language books with my daughter on set in Ethiopia published through Open Hearts Big Dreams Fund and have two more in process. And I am diligently working on getting that first self-help book finished.
